First visit · 60 minutes · £68

The first hour is measurement, not guesswork.

You leave the first visit with a real reading of where your spine sits off plumb, and a plan you can see the reasoning behind — not a package sold before we have looked at you.

  1. 01

    History

Ten minutes on what brought you in, what makes it worse, and what you need to get back to. We read the whole picture before we touch anything.

  2. 02

    Assessment against plumb

You stand to a plumb line and we measure where your column sits off true — segment by segment, cervical to lumbar. This is the number every later visit is checked against.

  3. 03

    The first adjustment

Where it is safe to on day one, you get your first adjustment. Where it is not, we tell you why and what comes first.

  4. 04

    The plan

A clear read of how far off plumb you are, how many visits a correction usually takes, and what it costs — written down, no surprises at reception.

What to bring, what to wear

  • Comfortable clothing you can move in — we assess how your spine loads, so leggings or shorts and a t-shirt are ideal.
  • Any scans or letters you already have. You do not need them to book, and you do not need a referral.
  • Ten minutes' grace before your slot for the history form, or fill it in when you arrive.

Common questions

Does the adjustment hurt?

A specific adjustment is quick and most people describe relief rather than pain. We explain exactly what you will feel before anything happens, and nothing happens that you have not agreed to.

Do I need a referral?

No. Chiropractic is a first-contact profession — you can book a first visit directly. If we think you should see your GP or a specialist first, we will tell you and say why.

How many visits will I need?

Most corrections we see run eight to twelve visits, but you get an honest read at the end of the first visit, checked against your own plumb measurement — not a plan sold before we have looked at you.

Is it safe for the neck?

We assess before we adjust, use low-force techniques on the cervical spine where they are indicated, and decline to adjust when it is not safe to. Every registered chiropractor here works to General Chiropractic Council standards.
