Your first visit, from the door to the plan
The first visit is the longest appointment we offer, because it decides whether everything after it is worth your money. Here is how the hour goes.
The hour, stage by stage
Times are a guide. If something needs longer, it gets longer.

Arrive five minutes early
We send a short health form the day before. Fill it on your phone and there is nothing to do at the desk.

Talk it through
Fifteen minutes on what hurts, what makes it worse and what you want to get back to.

Movement and neuro tests
Posture, range of movement, reflexes and strength. This is what tells us where the problem actually is.

First treatment
Where it is safe, you are treated the same day. Where it is not, we explain why and what comes first.

A written plan
What we found, how many visits it usually takes and what it costs, emailed to you before you get home.
What to bring
- Loose clothes you can move in, or use our gowns
- A list of any medication you take
- Scan or X-ray reports, if you have them
- Your insurer’s authorisation code, if you are claiming
- Glasses, if you need them to read the plan
Free 2-hour parking in the Weller Lane car park behind the clinic, two step-free spaces at the door. Marlow Reach station is a six-minute walk.
First-visit questions
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book a first visit directly. If your assessment shows something that needs a GP or a scan first, we tell you on the day and write the referral letter for you.
Does an adjustment hurt?
Most people feel pressure and then relief. We explain what we are about to do before we do it, and every technique has a gentler alternative. Nothing happens that you have not agreed to.
How many visits will I need?
Most of our patients are discharged within six visits. You get an honest estimate at the end of the first visit, written down with the cost, and we check it against your progress every time.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in: leggings or shorts and a vest top. We have gowns and a private changing area if you come straight from work.

First visits run from 07:30 on weekdays and on Saturday mornings. Pick a time online or call the front desk.
